Bust of Greville Verney

Heavily soiled marble bust was cleaned using several conservation cleaning techniques to obtain the best result. These techniques were compatible with marble as a substrate of the bust. As a result the original, high polished surface finish was retained. Upon the completion of the cleaning, the bust received a protective wax coating which also enhanced its appearance.
