Persian Bell-shaped Box

Silver floral decoration was heavily tarnished and barely distinguishable from the dark background. Light powdery residues were in many areas covering the dark background. Some small parts of silver sheets (decoration) were missing.

Silver was carefully cleaned with Silvo wadding and alcohol based polar solvent. Light powdery residues were removed from all the crevices in order to make the silver decoration stand out on the dark background.
