Memorial to John & Abigail Verney

Conservation surface as well as structural treatment was required on this memorial in order to bring it back to its original splendid appearance. Removal of surface soiling was undertaken. Several conservation cleaning techniques were implemented to achieve the most appropriate result. The dark colour of the obelisk was re-instated and the engraved lettering was in-painted in black. The monument received a layer of protective wax coating upon the completion of the conservation treatment.
