War Memorial, Leamington Spa

Conservation treatment was undertaken in order to bring the war memorial to its original appearance and to create a contrast between the granite stone and white Carrara marble plaques with contrasting lead lettering. The conservation treatment was undertaken in stages and involved removal of surface soiling, removal of bio-growth and re-pointing areas of open joints. The surrounding pebbled area was also treated and cleaned.
